Family Residence
This is the perfect opportunity to encourage and thoroughly prepare the child (and the parents) for a longer stay with us. A short stay with his/her parents helps the child experience the "casa degli scoiattoli" as a natural extension of family life.

- Parents participate in the daily life of the "house"
- Parents and staff develop reciprocal trust and cooperation
- The child experience the "house" as a natural extension of family-life
- Together parents and staff evaluate whether the child is ready for the new and stimulating yet delicate experience of gradual autonomy from the family. If the child is not ready, we recommend waiting a few months, or even a year or two, rather than make this experience a "negative" skill for the child
- Parents can address and explore the various issues involved in the "profession" of parenting.
